Sommige delen werden rechtstreeks overgebracht op de linnen canvas en daarna bijgewerkt met olieverf. De andere delen werden met olieverf geschilderd.<br \/>\nVia collage is het best wel boeiend om een geheel te cre\u00ebren. Het is echt wel alle zintuigen en prikkels laten samenvloeien om tot iets te komen dat je zelf inspireert en interessant vindt.<br \/>\nEerst ging ik voor het landschap. De droogte en woestijn steken af tegen de groene oase.<br \/>\nDe boom schept diepte en heeft een grillige vorm. Hij probeert te overleven en te weerstaan aan alle klimatologische veranderingen.<br \/>\nKenmerkend voor mijn werken zijn de toevoegingen van menselijke figuren. Ze zijn een rode draad die het verhaal dragen. Ik vind een werk geslaagd als een toeschouwer betrokken kan blijven kijken.<br \/>\nDe man daalt af, uit zijn ivoren toren? Wil hij even herbronnen? Alles eventjes achterlaten? Of wil hij  even tot rust komen onder de weelderige bomen. Nu nog groen en fris.
