Ik baseerde me op beelden van de Indiase \u00a0\u00bb Stepwell &lsquo; tempel van Jaipur. Vaak fascineert het mij hoe vluchtig historische bezoeken plaats hebben. Eeuwen lang trotseren deze monumenten het klimaat, het massatoerisme&#8230;. Ze zijn prachtige overblijfselen van een verleden. Het besef dat daar in die omgeving  mensen rondliepen, kinderen speelden en het gewone leven er zich afspeelde raakt me.
