Tourmaline: Understanding, strenght
Abalone Shell: Emotional balance, tranquility, protection
I was forced by the things happening around me to look at the things behind me. And the things behind me forced me to look at the things right in front of me.
If we are running from something or pushing something away, we choose not to look at it, so we ultimately acknowledge it is there. It leaves us unfree as we become enslaved by the distractions that blind us from the things that need to be looked at. Things that often require healing.
This piece is about the remembrance of being more present and accepting where you are and who you are. Because when you do, it feels like Coming Home. In that space, you unchain yourself and start accepting the things around you, the things behind you and the things right in front of you. Because the stories then told are the ones that empower and connect us all. ‘Coming Home’ resembles what it feels like to truly look inwards. And when we do, we carry ourselves home. For it is us to see, to be free, to expand and to just be.
I am never alone
In the innerknown
I am always home.
