I paint what I hear… Styrkja (Strength) is part of a new collection of paintings on canvas inspired by Neo-Nordic rhythms. The contrasting textures are vividly rendered, as if etched into the canvas. The unstretched canvas has been mounted on a rigid backing, varnished and then framed.
