The quiet interval.

Groot kunstwerk op houten paneel. Rooted abstraction. Zachte kleuren. My work develops through layers. I build each piece gradually, allowing the surface to evolve over time. Paint is applied, left to settle, and then covered again, creating depth and subtle shifts in texture.
I often incorporate unexpected materials such as sand, coffee grounds, and other raw elements. These materials interact with the paint, creating organic patterns that cannot be fully controlled. The process is partly intentional and partly intuitive.
Rather than starting with a fixed image, the work grows step by step. Each layer responds to the previous one, allowing the painting to find its own balance. What emerges is a quiet landscape of textures, traces, and subtle movement.
